About the
Oven
|
|
Rocco's Brick Oven
was designed by Gilerto Marucci, of Naples, Italy.
Through his amazing reputation of building brick ovens, in the
southern part of Italy, we adopted his idea and have brought
it here.
We use only the
finest seasoned woods, such as cherry, oak, and hickory, in an
effort to give our pizza a unique and authentic Italian
flavor. |
|
Exton, Pennsylvania;
the site of the first Rocco's Pizza and Beer, opens its doors
and introduces a whole new way of satisfying pizza and Italian
food lovers. It was the original of five others opening over
the next 10 years, in and around the area, two of which were a
pizzeria and restaurant, seating upwards of 200 people.
However, Exton's
location was where the Wood-Fired Brick Oven made it's depute.
The grand opening was some 20 years ago and it remains the
area's only true wood burning oven.
Aside from the unique
characteristics that the Brick Oven offers, you should also
know that Rocco's goes to great lengths to ensure that only
the best of ingredients are used to create all of their foods.
Fresh vegetables are
delivered and selected every day, the dough is made fresh,
right there, and the meats are from choice cuts, prepared
right in their own kitchen.
Their chef creates
some of the best sauces and meals that your palette will crave
and your budget can support. |
